Aladja Monastery – The most popular medieval rock monastery at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, which was inhabited by monks – hermits in the 13th – 14th century. Situated on the way to Varna. Residence Evxinograd – between the city of Varna and Saint Constantin and Helena resort, set in an 80-hectare park by the sea. This superb palace is begun in 1882 by Prince Alexander of Battenberg and finished by King Ferdinand in 1893. The castle is in a Louis XIII style and features the original pediment of the Château de Saint-Cloud which was transported from Paris stone by stone with the Orient Express. A winery was built as a part of the complex and a successor of the old monastery cellar. The building is a picturesque house in Bulgarian Revival style. It includes two underground levels, a host wing, a laboratory, a bottling workshop, administrative offices and a degustation room.

Dolphinarium Varna is one of a kind attraction in Bulgaria. It is set amidst greenery in the northern part of the Varna Sea Garden with a wonderful sea view. Be sure you do not miss the magnificent panoramic view! Not recommended for those with fear of heights to climb up the open trail along the hills.

Archaeological Reserve “Yailata” –Located thirty km Northeast of Balchik.
Yailata represents a waterside terrace with a total area of about three acres, separated from the sea by high cliffs, which in places reaches sixty meters. The historical value of the area and its tourist attraction is due to the fact that there are found many cave dwellings, some of which found artifacts aged five thousand years, and the early Byzantine fortress from the V century. Although it may be stored only fragments of four towers and a gate, it looks very picturesque against the beach.thirty
